India’s GDP grows 7.7% in 4th quarter, retains the tag of fastest growing economy

India’s economy grew the fastest in seven quarters in the 4th quarter of 2018, and it was strengthen by strong performance in real estate, manufacturing and public services, pointing to a tenacious revival trend and encouraging the Modi government ahead of 2019 general elections.

Amit Shah tweeted ” I congratulate PM Shri @narendramodi & his cabinet for keeping India on high growth trajectory. GDP growth rate of 7.7%, a sharp increase over 7% in previous quarter, led by all round growth in key sectors such as Agri, Manufacturing & Construction is very encouraging.

GDP growth has been increasing continuously every quarter with growth of 7.7% in Q4 of 2017-18. Shows that the economy is on the right track & set for even higher growth in the future. This is the under leadership of PM @NarendraModi ji & @ArunJaitley ji finance minister Piyush Goyal tweeted.
